Best Safety Practices

What makes Enouvation different from other furniture power solutions?

We’re furniture experts first. Enouvation was founded by the team behind Era Nouveau, a premium power motion furniture supplier, and we developed a battery around the needs of the furniture. Our patented Power Packs deliver Cordless Living™, are independently tested by SGS Laboratories to applicable UL safety standards, and ship new and factory sealed, never refurbished. Our U.S.-based Customer Care Team offers a complimentary system analysis to match the right pack to your furniture. We understand what we’re powering.

What does Enouvation do to ensure Power Pack quality?

Every Power Pack goes through extensive testing before it receives a serial ID, then ships factory sealed in tamper-evident packaging. Our Power Packs are independently tested by SGS Laboratories to applicable UL safety standards and meet UN38.3 transportation testing requirements. Every pack is new, never refurbished, and backed by our U.S.-based Customer Care Team.

Can Enouvation Power Packs power lamps or other household items?

No. Power Packs are designed only to power furniture motors. Don’t modify a pack or use it with other items; use it only with compatible furniture components.

Can Enouvation Power Packs power a furniture console?

Not usually. Console features often need 110V wall power. Use a Power Pack only for motor functions.

Which Pack Is Right for You?™

Which Pack Is Right for You?™

It depends on your furniture and its features. The Standard Series (E4 and E6) is cordless power for furniture without extra features. The Entelligent Series (E5 and E10) is power and control for feature-rich furniture (like lights, touch controls or other features that draw power around the clock) letting you turn the pack off to save power. The Vault Smart Backup is backup power for lift chairs, adjustable beds and recliners that stay plugged in; it’s a backup, not a cordless pack. Find your furniture on our Which Pack Is Right for You?™ page, or request a complimentary system analysis.

What information is required when requesting a system analysis?

Send clear photos of your furniture, its features and controls (switches), where its power supply connects (the motor lead) and any visible wiring, plus the manufacturer or model if you know it. Request your complimentary system analysis.

How do I know if my furniture has constant-drawing features?

Look for USB ports, LED lighting, touch controls, wireless charging pads, sound systems, Bluetooth features, massage, heat, wireless remotes or backlit switches. These features draw power even when they’re not in use, which reduces functions per charge and means more frequent charging. See how much each feature uses on our Which Pack Is Right for You?™ page.

Where can I purchase your products?

Buy new. Buy genuine. Enouvation Power Packs are sold and warrantied only through enouvation.com, authorized retailers and Amazon when Enouvation is the seller. On Amazon, Enouvation sells the Standard Series (E4 and E6); the Entelligent Series and the Vault Smart Backup are available at enouvation.com and authorized retailers. Enouvation doesn’t sell or warrant Power Packs from eBay or other secondary marketplaces. Looking for an authorized retailer near you, not sure a seller is authorized, or buying from outside the U.S.? Contact our Customer Care Team and we’ll help.

How does Enouvation protect customers purchasing through authorized retailers?

Every Enouvation Power Pack leaves our California distribution center new and factory sealed. Authorized sellers receive genuine Enouvation product, so your pack arrives that way and is covered by our warranty. Packs from eBay or other secondary marketplaces may be used, refurbished or resold. Their history is unknown: where they came from, how they were stored, charged and handled, and whether they were damaged inside or out. Those packs aren’t covered by our warranty. Not sure a seller is authorized? Contact our Customer Care Team and we’ll verify it.

Warranty

If I purchased from an authorized retailer, am I covered?

Yes. Power Packs bought from an authorized seller (enouvation.com, an authorized retailer, or Amazon when Enouvation is the seller) are covered by our 1-year limited warranty. Packs bought anywhere else, such as eBay or other secondary marketplaces, aren’t covered. Read the full warranty.

Does your warranty cover damages?

No. The warranty doesn’t cover damage, including damage from modification, moisture, power surges or other causes. A damaged Power Pack is a safety risk: if your pack or its wiring is damaged in any way, stop using it immediately and contact our Customer Care Team for help. See the full warranty for details.

Order Processing

What is your return policy?

Once the factory seal is broken, the product is considered used. Only unopened, unused products may be returned within 30 days, and a 15% restocking fee applies. Read the full return policy.

When will I receive my order?

Orders ship within 3 business days, and delivery typically takes up to 5 business days after carrier pickup. Severe weather, natural disasters and other conditions beyond the carrier’s control may occasionally cause delays.

Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?

Accessories such as cables and chargers ship to Alaska and Hawaii, but Power Packs do not: shipping a Power Pack there requires air service, which we don’t offer. Contact our Customer Care Team to find an authorized retailer in these regions.

Do you ship internationally?

No. We don’t fulfill international orders directly. For buying options in Canada, Europe or the UK, contact our Customer Care Team.

Installation & Basic Functionality

Will Enouvation products work with my recliners?

Enouvation Power Packs work with most power furniture brands. The pack connects to the motor lead, where your furniture’s transformer (power supply) connected, so nothing runs to the wall. Most furniture needs no adapter. For other connection types or an external connection bracket, we offer Universal Adapters (FXH, RND and LZB), and your first adapter is complimentary when you create an account (shipping applies). See connectors and adapters on our Which Pack Is Right for You?™ page, or request a complimentary system analysis and we’ll confirm exactly what you need.

How do I install a furniture Power Pack?

Installation takes a few minutes, with no tools needed. Disconnect the wall transformer from the furniture’s motor lead, connect the Power Pack in its place, and position the pack clear of any moving parts. We always recommend the e Extension Cable, which adds about 6.5 feet so the pack sits away from moving parts; adapters are available for other connection types. See our installation guides, or request a complimentary system analysis for help.

Can I use my Power Pack with furniture that has sound systems?

Yes, but sound systems draw substantial power around the clock, so the pack will need very frequent recharging, possibly daily. For furniture with sound systems, we recommend wall power. If you want cordless, choose the Entelligent Series, which lets you switch features off from the Entelligent app or the pack’s power switch when the furniture isn’t in use. The E10 is our most powerful pack.

Can I use my Power Pack as a battery backup?

No. Standard Series (E4 and E6) and Entelligent Series (E5 and E10) Power Packs are designed to be your furniture’s only power source, so they don’t work as a backup. For backup power during outages, choose the Vault Smart Backup: it stays plugged in and takes over automatically when the power goes out.

My furniture has multiple reclining seats. Can I use only one Power Pack?

Yes, in most cases. Most sofas and loveseats need one pack and no splitter. A Y Splitter Cable is only needed for seats with separate power cords, and sectionals with 2–3 powered seats use the E10 with the Optimize Cable Kit. If the furniture has features that draw power around the clock, choose the Entelligent Series (E5 or E10). Find your furniture on our Which Pack Is Right for You?™ page.

Can I get a replacement charger?

Yes. One official Enouvation-branded charger fits the E4, E5, E6 and E10; order a replacement. For best safety practice and performance, use only official Enouvation-branded chargers: other chargers may not work with your pack, could affect how it performs and void the warranty. The Vault charges through your furniture’s own power supply, so it doesn’t need a separate charger.
